Sir,

I shall deem it a great favour if you publish the miserable condition of the flood-stricken people of Brinda and other papers and also issue an appeal for help to the three hard-hit people.

 Due to the continuous heavy rains for three days and the breach of Shanpur Bhandh, the flood entered these villages all of a sudden on the 25^th at night. It caused many houses. Many huts and houses were washed away. Seven people died as they were trapped inside the room five are still missing. The terrible loss suffered by the villages is beyond description. The crops have been totally damaged. They are without food clothing and shelter. Parents have separated from their children. help has not yet reached these villages. Rescue terms with food, medicine, etc. are yet to arrive.

Help must reach these people before it becomes too late.
