My dear Uncle,

Great many thanks for your beautiful present that I received yesterday on the occasion of my birthday. How kind of you to remember me on this day with such a nice taken of your great affection for me. The cute-looking wristwatch with a golden shine attracted the eyes of everybody present in the party and they all had nothing but appreciation for it.

 Dear Uncle, I don’t know how you did find out that I very much needed a watch. Perhaps you noted it last time when you come to us. Every day when I used to get ready for school I had to ask time from the co-passengers. Now it would be different. During tests and exams, this watch will prove very useful. I will time the speed of my writing. This watch will help me to keep appointments, to reach places in time, and to save me from the compulsion of frequently asking “What time is it?”
